As the Treasurer and a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for Kids Lead Foundation, I am deeply committed to our mission of empowering young people from low-income households across New York City. My role involves overseeing the financial health and strategic allocation of resources to ensure the sustained success of our elementary-level reading programs. These programs are meticulously designed to foster literary skills and language abilities, providing a crucial foundation for higher education and real-world readiness. It is a privilege to contribute to an organization that so passionately invests in the future of our youth.
As the Chairman of the Board for R.I.S.E., Inc., I am deeply committed to leveraging the transformative power of sports to foster educational excellence and community development. My role involves a dedicated volunteer effort to provide both direct and indirect services, primarily focusing on children, families, and communities where educational opportunities may be limited. Our core mission is to utilize sports as a strategic bridge to higher educational attainment, recognizing its unique ability to instill discipline, teamwork, and perseverance – qualities essential for academic success. This commitment extends to actively supporting school leaders, empowering them with the resources and strategies needed to enhance educational opportunities for children in underserved communities.
